| Mary Gordon attended the first Baby Celebration in Auckland, New Zealand in November 2007. She was joined by dignitaries including Cindy Kiro, Children's Commissioner, and Dr Rajen Prasad, Chief Families Commissioner, as well as parents and babies and program instructors. | Roots of Empathy entered the United States for the first time in the fall of 2007 with 10 programs in the Seattle area.
