Quebec Statistics

Roots of Empathy was first introduced into Quebec in the fall of 2005 in six French Montreal classrooms.

In the 2008-09 school year in Quebec:

625 students are participating in the program in 25 classrooms in nine schools.
18 Quebec Instructors are delivering the ROE program. These Instructors are supported provincially by two Mentors, two Local Program Coordinators and one Trainer.
Quebec ROE is delivering a total of 13 French language programs; these include seven French immersion programs and six French school board programs.
ROE is currently running in two school boards within the Montreal area: Commission scolaire de Montréal and the English Montreal School Board.

Since 2005, Roots of Empathy has reached 2,075 students in Quebec
